Today is dedicated to #girlpower. All around the world, people have marked March 8 as International Women’s Day to celebrate the incredible achievements of women.
You might recall the Women’s March that was held on January 21 and the powerful message it sent to the world. Well, today is another one for the books. It’s the first “Day Without a Woman” strike where women can either take the day off work, avoid shopping for one day, or wear red to represent their solidarity.
We went to Twitter to see what some of our favorite celebs were saying about today, a day that is sure to go down in history.
I’m grateful to all the women who came before me and fought for me to be able to be where I am. #ADayWithoutWomen #IWD2017
