Ah, how we miss the glorious ’90s. From Saved by the Bell to My So-Called Life, this pivotal era brought us some of the best entertainment we’ve ever seen!
However, we have slowly seen the ’90s making their way back in the form of chokers and slip dresses. So if the ’90s are making a comeback, why shouldn’t the iconic celebs of this era? Below are some of our most cherished celebs from the best decade ever.
Sarah Michelle Gellar
It’s pretty impossible to forget about a ’90s girl kicking butt and taking names. Gellar was well-known for her title role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and honestly, we’d love to see a re-boot.
Melissa Joan Hart
Whether you know her from Sabrina, the Teenage Witch or Clarissa Explains It All, everyone recognizes this talented lady. She had a brief comeback on Melissa & Joey, but we’re totally hoping returns back to our TV screens.
Linda Cardellini
Ugh, why did Freaks and Geeks only last one season? Who did Lindsay choose?! There are so many stars in the show that are big now (Seth Rogen, Jason Segel, James Franco…), but what about Linda Cardellini? We loved her cameo in New Girl, but it wasn’t enough!
Alicia Silverstone
As if you could forget the ever iconic Cher! We were all definitely rooting for her, and we’re rooting for Alicia Silverstone, too. We think it’s time for a Beverly Hills High reunion.
Jonathan Taylor Thomas
Face it, you probably had a crush on one of the Taylor brothers on Home Improvement when you were younger — but good ol’ JTT was always our fave. He’s had small roles since the show ended, but has been MIA since 2005, with the exception of his appearances in Last Man Standing.
Rachael Leigh Cook
Remember when you totally wanted to be Laney Boggs for a brief moment? Cook hasn’t been in the limelight lately, but we totally hope she makes a comeback.
Claire Danes
Honestly, wasn’t My So-Called Life the greatest? It was one of the most accurate representations of teen life at the time. It was also one of the first shows to spur an online campaign to keep it from being cancelled, which sadly failed. Danes has been in a number of smaller roles since the show ended, but we want more!
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen
Our favorite ’90s twins have moved on to the wonderful world of fashion, and they’ve had much success! We totally respect that, but if they just had a little cameo on Fuller House, our hearts would be so happy. Or maybe Passport to Paris, Pt. 2? We can dream.
Stacey Dash
Speaking of Clueless, what about Cher’s BFF, Dionne? We’ve seen her in a few roles since the movie, but we’d love to see her in a continuous role (and be a part of that reunion we mentioned, obviously).
Freddie Prinze Jr.
We couldn’t include Sarah Michelle Gellar without including her hubbie. Where has this ’90s heartthrob gone, and when is he coming back?
