Gilmore Girls fans assemble!
Netflix turned over 200 cafes across the U.S. into Luke’s Diner to celebrate the 16th anniversary of the first episode and to promote the soon-to-be-released revival, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life! The catch? It’s only happening today.
If you’ve ever dreamed of sipping on coffee at Luke’s Diner with a sign that says “no cell phones,” your dream just might come true. Employees in participating cafes will be wearing Luke’s aprons and backwards hats and coffee will be served in cups with quotes from the show. Um, we’re already obsessed.
Oh, and if you grab a cup o’ joe, make sure to check the inside of your sleeve — you just might win a free year of Netflix. So stop what you’re doing and go get caffeinated!
