Just as the leaves begin to change, so does the fashion world as we all make room in our closets for the amazing pieces that were on the runway this week. While crop tops and high-waisted shorts seem to be sticking around, come Spring ’17 we can expect everything from tribal prints to romantic silhouettes inspired by bees (yep, bees!). Pattern-clashing and tons of colors, there’s something for everyone this season.

Take a peek at some of our favorite looks from NYFW!

Oscar de la Renta
This colorful two-piece is chic, fun, and waiting to be worn on your next tropical vay-k. With safari prints adorning the square-necked crop and high-waisted maxi skirt, this look is a departure from the designer’s usual silhouette. And while these pieces look stunning together, we can’t help but imagine the limitless outfit combinations.

Anna Sui
We are obsessed with this look. This is all over the place in the best of ways. Drawing inspo from different facets of American culture, Sui combines the looks effortlessly, and the result is pure genius. Her line, dubbed “Miss American Pie” features everything from Western leather jackets, to cheerleading skirts, to this cropped tee paired with a floral Victorian style high-waisted short set.

Kimora knows how to live life in the fab lane, and now she’s bringing her signature sexy-chic look to the runway this season. This blouse is already in our shopping cart and can you blame us? We’re in love with the vertical and horizontal stripes with mesh in-between creating the perfect top that can transition seamlessly from day to night.

Such a great way to change up the way we wear crop tops and add some sexy elegance. We’re loving this deep V crop top with billowing ¾ length sleeves for a dramatic look. Black trim on the inside of the top gives depth, while a pop of color in the ruched high waisted skirt completes the look.

Lela Rose NYFW 3

You’re pretty much guaranteed to get some double takes when rocking this outfit. An effortless white button up with assorted buttons is paired with a color-blocked cut-out skirt that shows just the right amount of your gorge gams. Oh, and can we talk about those floral sunnies for a second? Adorable!

Tribal prints are back! We love the bold patterns with a punch of bright color that make this skirt a statement piece that you’ll get compliments on all season. Paired with an off-white long sleeve shirt featuring embroidered detailing, it’s hard to look away from this light and airy look.

Marchesa NYFW

Marchesa
We are head over heels in love with this whole collection and it’s easy to see why. With breathtaking gowns that look straight out of a Disney movie, we know we’ll be seeing plenty of stars walking down the red carpet in these designs. This goddess dress floated down the runway in a sea of pink, gold, and blue hues giving us major Sleeping Beauty vibes.

Thom Browne

Thom Browne
Like something out of a comic book version of Pleasantville, we’re dying over this entire collection. The uber popular Thom Browne brings optical illusions to another level with this funky floral dress that (from a distance) looks like a shirt, skirt, and coat on top — but is actually one unique piece (talk about a money saver!).

Jeremy Scott NYFW

We can taste the freedom with this look! This turtlenecked sleeveless mini is printed with New York skyscrapers shaped as popsicles in patriotic red, white, and blue. (What could be more American than that?!) We can definitely see Katy Perry rocking this patriotic piece this spring.

Rodarte NYFW

Have you heard the buzz about this piece? The inspiration came from designers Laura and Kate Mulleavy’s fear of bees (along with a little Janis Joplin inspo). This outfit is loaded with bee-like references from climbing flowers and leaves to honey colored lace with white dots creating a honeycomb-like pattern. And we can’t get enough of that crop top with layered ruffle cap sleeves and an exquisite high collar. Of course, we wouldn’t be surprised at all to see Queen Bey herself appearing in this number in the near future.
