These FFFirsts are taking us on a nostalgic trip down memory lane! We asked members to share their stories about joining FFF and the first box they received, and it’s giving us all the feels!
2013
I have been a member since 2013!! Not sure if that was the first or second box. š I was seasonal until 2021 then upgraded to annualā¦I saw the first box on YouTube. I follow a lot of beauty gurus who posted unboxingsā¦ I was totally mesmerized by what I sawā¦ Each video was so exciting to see all the fun productsā¦. I decided to join right away!Ā The first box I got was Spring 2013. I loved being introduced to new products and I have met some holy grails along the way. To name a few favorites (okayā¦ more than a few) The Makeup Eraser, Ahava Hand Cream, Quai Scrub, Spongelle, The Mer Sea Cozy Wrap (one of my personal favorites), the Mod Cloth, Cozy Robe, UnHide Blankets, Rebecca Minkoff hat and glovesā¦ Jennybird braceletā¦all the special mugs and cupsā¦I could go on and on!!Ā I really wish they would have that option back where you could look at all of your boxes! 2014
Summer 2014. It was one of my first subscription boxes. I was introduced to Balanced Guru Hair Oil and remained a faithful customer of theirs for years. A close second is Happy Wax. Happy Wax has delighted my son and I for a few years now. We have acquired quite a collection of Happy Wax melts and still spend time together everyday deciding on that dayās scent. Iāve been Annual through three different emails. Two different profiles (not at the same time). Iāve been blessed to have made forum friends throughout the years. – RoseGarden

Gotta post quick before workā¦First box for me was in 2015!!! Iāve taken a few fiscal breaks but a loyal member since, most of the time, I can indulge. I canāt possibly pick a favorite product but my favorite part of the sub is the Community. Iāve cried with, hugged tight, flipped upside down, and drove many miles with these amazing ladies. My mom and daughter are now part of the Community too. Thank you FFF for an amazing experience and I look forward to many more in the future. And just for funā¦ my littles came across this coloring book from 2016 and have claimed it and been finally putting it to good use. Sorry for the breakfast mess around it but what a crazy coincidence. Had to take a pic, mess and all, since it is truly all over my table RIGHT NOW. – timberlegs

Fall 2016 was my first box, because of the Modcloth scarf. Was seasonal for a bit before going Annual. I do think the boxes have gotten better and I like we have choices. Hereās a photo I took of my first box. I was so excited – Miko2a
I joined in 2016 with the Spring Welcome Box! I had been seeing ads on Facebook and I was interested but I didnāt want to spend the money on just me. They had a special deal and I went for it. I became an Annual soon after and have never looked back. Before FFF, I did not really take care of myself. My skin, hair, my FEET. FFF has changed much of that for me. Iāve discovered wonderful products like foot masks, restoring shampoo, deep moisture hair masksā¦ bougie lips, divinely scented and soft skin. Fun accessories and fancy sunglasses! My FabFitFun addiction began in November 2016. I was gifted an Annual Membership for my birthday by my sweet hubby. I quickly fell in love with the subscription because I loved feeling spoiled. The forum has been an extra bonus experience, and it feels great to make friends with other ladies who share something in common. I have many favorite products from over the years but if I must choose one, the Winter Box below would be my favorite. Iām a total homebody that loves all things warm and cozy and this box was just perfection. I loved the UnHide blanket, the Summer and Rose Robe, the Muk Luks socks, and the Lilly Pulitzer mugs. The Spring 2017 box was my first one! I loved how the products were set but there were different color ways you could receive, and was ecstatic when I got the tie dye roundie I was hoping for! The hair skin and nail gummies were an amazing bonus to try, and I remember collecting the Milly Zip Pouches (I did the same with the ice packs from the Fall Box of that year!). The 2017 boxes were by far my favorites, and I still have and use so many of those products!Ā
The MYTAGALONGS hot/cold packs are in my freezer now!
The Michael Stars Ruana is probably my second most used, and I loved it so much I needed it in two colors!

HAPPY 10TH BIRTHDAY! ..I became a member Winter 2017 to this day that was one of my favorite boxes. I had seen FabFitFun boxes around the internet and decided to celebrate my 50th birthday with a gift to myselfā¦I really wanted to try the Kate Somerville Exfolikateā¦I use my Ayesha Curry mug every day! The reversible BB Dakota Poncho is a seasonal favorite of mine and thatās when I fell in love with the AHAVA lotion.Ā There is always something I love in each box since, the Mark & Graham colorblock blanket and the UnHide blankets..the amazing brands of skincare šā¦one of the best things about FFF is the Community. ā¤ļø I canāt go a day without it, plus the beautiful amazing ladies I have come to adore. – gina318
I joined in between Fall and Winter 2017 after trying a Starter Box. My first full-sized box (Winter 2017) had my all time favorite product – the ExfoliKate.Ā My most memorable time with FFF was winning a contest when they reached 1M members. I was flown out to LA and go to visit HQ and meet so many of the FFF team including Katie, Michael, and Jamie S and attend their Annual Christmas party. It was such an amazing, whirlwind weekend and just the best memory.Ā When I first joined FFF, I was in a really low place. Finding this sub really helped me remember the things Iāve always loved and invest in myself in a way I had not done since I had kids. I did take a break at the beginning of 2020 and rejoined that next summer. And Iām so happy to be here! – this beautyfulllife

I joined Winter 2017, I saw a blogger post about the box and I had to check it out. I had never really even washed my face, let alone use serums and moisturizers and eye cream! My favorite moments have been making friends here in the Community (and hanging out with them in real life), and honestly getting a box that Iām super excited for! This has always been a treat to myself, I never shopped much for myself and my life is infinitely different (and for the better) since I clicked that join button! – LadyJamie1031

I joined Spring 2018 as a Seasonal Subscriber and then became an Annual right after. My first box was the Spring Editorās Box. It was very similar to this photo. That Tarte eyeshadow palette is still my favorite to this day and I love that mug! I joined a few months after losing my dad to cancer. It was a heartbreaking experience and it completely changed my life. It put into perspective how short life is and I wanted to live mine to the best of my ability. I wanted to take better care of myself in better ways and when I came across FabFitFun it felt like the right fit. It helped me create a self care routine and introduced me to a wonderful community of women that really helped bring some gratitude and happiness back in my life. My favorite experience has been how much more this subscription has been for me than just items in a box. Iāve really enjoyed going to meet-ups, the Summer House event in LA, and countless zoom chats with people from this community that Iām lucky to call friends now. – ItsmeVee

I joined in Spring 2019 as a Seasonal then decided to upgrade to Annual in Spring 2020. I love FFF and made me so happy and excited for my box every time! Winter is my last box and if Spring Box looks amazing, I may renew my subscription. FFF you got me hooked on Murad, Tula, and Wander Beauty. Those are my go-to brands. I joined the Community Forum about a month after I joined. Love everyone on here and it was such a fun forum!!! Not long after, I discovered the Edit Sale and I was skeptical at first and then I loved shopping on here! š – kparis8706
2020
I joined in spring of 2020. It had been a couple weeks into Covid lockdown. I was laid off, everything was closed, the future was unknown. I saw an influencer do an unboxing video and decided it looked fun and would give me something to look forward to. When that box came in the mail it was packaged beautifully. Opening it up was like opening an elaborate gift, it felt special. I loved it so much. – JessicaVC
Covid just shut down the country and I was stuck at home with my 11yo, 6yo and 6 month old. My husband was essential so was still working. I was having a hard time mentally and my husband told me to look into getting something that was JUST FOR ME. I found FFF, signed up, and to this day have loved every minute! I still use my copper plated brush from my first box! My favorite product that I was able to discover is several to be honest but my favorite use every single day are Spongelle, TULA, Murad and I have FabFitFun to thank for my UnHide addictionā¦.(I have 19ā¦) Any issue I have ever encountered has been taken care of by the awesome customer service support. And when we bought our first house I was congratulated by the most beautiful flowers from FFF!Ā I have never felt more welcomed than I have with FFF and the awesome community who are there to help with just about anything!!! – Jenni-B

I joined FabFitFun in early 2021 as a Seasonal Member. A friend told me about the fabulous subscription box that incorporated lifestyle products with beauty items. All the subscriptions Iād seen before were strictly beauty, but hearing that there was a box that went beyond that really appealed to my need for more varied, self-care bundles. I worked hard balancing work and family, and I wanted something just for me. I wanted a way to reward and appreciate myself on a regular basis.Ā My first customization was exciting and still is every season! By the end of the year I was a full, Annual Member shopping all the sales too. But, the thing that really made a difference in my life this year was joining the FabFitFun Community. There are so many wonderful people in this Community to share knowledge and ideas with, celebrate the good things in life, and support each other through the hard times.
