Ellen DeGeneres faced some serious backlash from fans after posting a photo of Olympian Usain Bolt.

She photoshopped herself onto a viral meme of Bolt smiling over his shoulder as he swiftly ran past his competitors to win the men’s 100 meter semifinal. DeGeneres is piggybacking Bolt in the meme and shared it on Twitter with the caption, “This is how I’m running errands from now on.”

Many Twitter users quickly lashed back at the comedian saying the photo was racist because the image depicted a white woman riding a black man as transportation.

DeGeneres sent out another tweet this morning saying, “I am highly aware of the racism that exists in our country. It is the furthest thing from who I am.”
