Converse just stepped up their game after almost 100 years. Your fave sneaker brand updated the look of their Classic All Stars — and you’re going to love it.
After receiving much positive feedback from their redesign of the Chuck Taylors, Converse decided to make a similar move on their All Stars.
The new shoe is dubbed the Converse All Star Modern and is available in two styles: the Hi and Ox. The shoe is extremely lightweight and stylish and “has circular knit uppers and features like Nike Hyperfuse, contoured full-length Phylon outsole, neoprene tongue and lining,” according to Mashable.
Bryan Cioffi, vice president and creative director of Converse Global Footwear is excited for the modern redesign on the classic shoe.
“The Converse All Star Modern is a perfect fusion of our sport heritage with modern design. With this collection, Converse is delivering a comfortable, lightweight product that’s new, exciting and modern, but still feels very Converse.”
The shoes will come in black, action red, lucid green, soar blue, and white. It will be available for sale on Thursday, June 16 for $140 for the Hi and $130 for the Ox at Converse retail stores and Converse.com.
