What’s your favorite workout to do when you’re on-the-go?
Walking, hiking, squats, plank slides, and vinyasa flow!
Do you have any motivational quote(s) you like to live by?
“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.” – Neale Donald Walsch
How do you encourage yourself to work out when you just don’t feel like it?
Knowing that I’ll feel more energized and be in a better mood after!
What kind of music do you listen to when you workout?
Sometimes I don’t listen to anything and just enjoy the sound of nature or put all my focus in the workout itself. Other times, I’ll turn on some country, rock, or meditation music — I guess it really depends on my mood.
What’s your favorite part about helping people get in shape?
Exercise to me is so much more than just about getting in shape. I focus more on strengthening and balancing my clients’ bodies so they can enjoy life by keeping their body pain-free even as they age.
Is there one particular client success story that makes you smile?
I have so many, but any client who thanks me and shares how I was able to improve their life both physically emotionally always makes me smile.
Do you have any advice for women who are looking to start their own business?
Stop thinking about it and start doing! Everyone has to start somewhere, so find one action item that you can do today and just do it.
How do you hope your clients feel after taking one of your workouts/classes?
In just one workout, I strive to have my new clients feeling taller, stronger, and more confident in their own body.
How do you think workouts are changing in the digital realm and with the rise of fitness on social media?
It’s allowing me to educate people on how to properly strengthen the core, have better posture, and more. It’s also given me the chance to have more in-depth programs and workouts that aren’t just about “getting fit,” but also about feeling great, confident, and being in control of your own body.
