We’re still drooling over all the gorgeous looks from the 2016 Met Gala (aka “the party of the year“) last night.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit (yes, it’s a mouthful) is meant to raise money for the Costume Institute, but we all know it’s unofficially known as the red carpet event where stars schmooze and designers show off their very best looks in accordance to the Met Gala exhibit.
Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology was the theme this year and attendees were stunning in their metallic, bronze, and tech-inspired outfits. We rounded up some of our favorite looks from last night.
Queen Bey can seriously pull off anything, including this latex dress by Givenchy with pearls embellished throughout.
Frills never looked sexier, especially on Depp who made her first Met Gala appearance this year. We’re ub-sessed with the plunging neckline and fitted bodice.
Danes gave us major Cinderella vibes in her Zac Posen dress and literally lit up the red carpet — the dress is made with a custom fiber optic woven organza.
How can you not flock around Saldana and her gorg, peacock inspired dress by Dolce & Gabbana? It’s all about the details.
Kloss is a classic American beauty in her Brandon Maxwell dress, which features sexy cut-outs at the bodice and a high neck.
McAdams is killin’ it in a nude ensemble with gold embellishments. We especially love the words embroidered on the lower half of the dress.
Pinto is simply dazzling in her Tory Burch number which is embellished with Swarvoski crystal panels — they cycle from white to blue shades. We’ve got fashion and tech at its finest.
Miller is a stunner in this sequined, rose gold Gucci gown! Also, the rainbow embellishments and bow detail are a beaut.
Jenner is glam in her sparkling blue and white Versace gown which was hand-picked by the designer herself.
Which look was your favorite from the Met Gala? Let us know in the comments below!
