Her approach to fitness transformation is unique because she aims to change the mindset around health and wellness rather than just changing your physical appearance. Her Body Love program is centered around feeling good physically, mentally, and emotionally, and she equips you with the resources necessary to take care of yourself from the inside out. Pretty amazing, right?

We chatted with the fitness expert on how she got started, what keeps her going, and what sets her Body Love community apart from the rest.

How did you first discover your love for fitness and health?
I first discovered my love for fitness and health after experiencing health problems in my early 20s. Growing up, I had no idea that you couldn’t subsist on fast food alone without eventually experiencing health trouble. I ate fast food three times a day and I never exercised, and I never felt the need to. But one day, I had to go to the emergency room for severe digestive issues, and that was my reality check about what I was putting into my body and how often I was moving my body.

What makes your workout method unique?
Body Love focuses on loving and appreciating your body through all stages of your journey. I focus on helping women achieve their dream body through high-intensity strength workouts from my Body Love App. They can strengthen their bodies and shed fat simultaneously. Plus, the workouts only take 30 minutes, making it perfect for busy schedules.

What are people most surprised about when they first try your workout?
Most people are surprised at how hard the workouts are. However, I encourage everyone to adjust the workouts to their fitness level. This is why we have beginner, intermediate, and advanced level workouts in the Body Love App, so if you don’t have as much energy one day, you can cater your workout to your wants and needs.

What’s one thing you hope clients take away from your workouts?
I hope my clients take away strength from doing my workouts. Not just physical strength, but also mental and emotional strength. There have been countless times where clients have told me that the strength and confidence they gained from the Body Love App transitioned into other areas of their life and allowed them to make life-changing decisions.

What’s your favorite part about helping people get into shape?
My favorite part of helping people get in shape is helping people realize the self-love and self-worth they’ve always deserved.

Any client success stories?
Tons! The Body Love community is full of women who are mothers, students, businesswomen, and some who are all of the above. Body Love is about repairing your relationship with your physical, emotional, and mental self. It’s the complete package because, without one, you won’t lead a truly healthy life. Just take a peek at #fbgprogress (now on the Body Love App!) to see thousands of women who have changed their lives with FBG (My Fit Body Guides).

How do you motivate yourself to work out when you’re not in the mood?
Honestly, I’m rarely super motivated to go to the gym. So in those moments, I channel “robot mode.” I don’t think about it, I just do. I’ve learned that the more I think about it, the more excuses I make about why I don’t feel like it or what else I would rather be doing. I owe all my workout progress to robot mode!
