ICYMI: Your First Look at the Summer Box

Question, I’m new to FFF. If you don’t get the customized item that you wanted does that mean it isn’t in the box at all? For example, I joined because I loved the cooler and straw bag that is advertised in the promo but when I got my “customize” email it said that item wasn’t available to customize. So, does that mean no cooler for me at all? If so, then that is SUPER disappointing. The promo makes it seem like those are standard items within the box.

I guess I don’t get all the negativity with the box selection... as an annual member I had a hard time making my choices this time (and last) and ended up adding on a few! The value of these items is awesome considering what we pay... To each his own I suppose...

This will be my last box, very disappointed in the choices. The summer box last year was the best, it’s been down hill since then. I signed in 3 hours after opening time to make my choices for the spring box and all choices were sold out. Very disappointing FFF.

The spring box was my first box and it was super disappointing, I cancelled my subscription right away. I would have subscribed again if the summer box had looked promising, but this looks lame as well. The other people defending FFF and asking us to be grateful (like what even, I am paying for this, it is not free or a handout by FFF), we are entitled to our opinion on something we are paying for.

The spring box was so disappointing! The light sweater was huge, I can't even wear it, I looked like a bag lady! The hair brush was good. But I am also going to cancel if this is what is what it's come down to.

I had love all my boxes and I can’t wait for the Summer one. Complaining about the selection because of our present restrictions is tasteless plus this is not the platform for it. If you are disappointed, cancel your subscription.

The majority of comments on here are awful. It makes me wonder why some of you don’t just cancel your box. How on earth do you expect to be 100% happy about everything you get in your box??? I’ve had 3 boxes and I’ve been happy with all. I share with my daughters (who are always ecstatic and grateful) and make use of almost everything I get. Some of you need to think about what you’re thankful for in your box instead of complaining.

Question about the diffuser. In the description, it says it's bergamot, geranium, and patchouli. On the video it says it's vetiver instead of patchouli. Can you please let me know which is correct? Thanks

So if you don't like an item, add it to your gift drawer. That's what I do and there is ALWAYS someone who will love the item. I don't dislike much, but the items I have gifted have prompted 2 of my friends to sign up. It's a very inexpensive, easy, fun way to add to your gift collection if you don't want to keep the items. I LOVE the summer box items. Thinking I will gift myself with these.

I would like to invite friends to join but I am waiting on a box that has choices for an array of taste and age groups. Hope the summer customization has good choices. I am going to be 70 this year. We cannot travel. I don't need more sunglasses and purses.

I love my boxes but being 59 I have tons of purses, bags, a diffuser, and I wear prescription glasses so the summer box doesn’t look that appealing to me at all. I wish I could pass on this box of “stuff”. Too bad the last 3 blew my socks off. Thinking about giving the whole box as a gift for someone who doesn’t have so much “stuff” already ????

I think the box looks great. I want all of these items. I agree about the spring box though- not my favorite. I am sick of so many lotions and serums and masks- I have drawers full now.

I understand we pay for these boxes, but people are being ungrateful. With everything we are going through, we are LUCKY to be even getting a summer box at all! Keeping the summer box with travel and summer is not a terrible choice. What it does is bring a bit or normality into our lives. I haven’t been so crazy about some of the items in my boxes. But still, I would never write a nasty post. I’d just unsubscribe? It’s not hard. Personally, when consumers tell me they aren’t coming back to where I work, I’m like ok? Lol. Do u expect me to care??? XD. Why would I want someone like you shopping here anyway. Honestly, probably just all Karen’s talking here....LOL. I’m sure it’s difficult to find items for EVERY taste out there. Unfortunately, there will ALWAYS be someone who has a negative thing to say. We do not need negativity right now. Anyway, keep up the good work and I appreciate you guys being active right now!

I have to agree that the Summer box is not looking very promising. I don’t want any of those items. Is there a way to skip a box? Excitement and anticipation of receiving a box has been disappointing.

I've loved every box so far. I mean, I only pay less then $45.00 for all these things. And i love the variety of items from hair to skin care to things for your home etc.....

I wasn't too happy with the spring box. The boxes that I got before were amazing and then I get the spring box and open it and I was extremely disappointed. I hope that the summer box makes up for how bad the spring box. If the summer box ends up just as disappointing as the spring box, I am going to have to end my subscription to fff.

The summer box looks way underwhelming. I thought the spring box was a waste of money. This one looks like it’s heading that same direction. I will give fall a chance and if it’s not like what it used to be I’m cancelling.

It all boils down to a matter of taste, I share the same feelings from some of the comments posted. The items or choices for the previous boxes for Winter and Spring were under whelming, I hope this will be better and future ones improved, this will be my 6th box since I joined.

My husband bought me a membership as a holiday gift, so it began in Winter. I loved that box and Spring, as well. Great that we can customize, so in Spring loaded up on creams, etc. I like the preview choices for Summer, and am already looking forward to receiving that box! Thanks for keeping things going through all the crazy!

Somewhat disappointed in my last FFF box. Only kept 2 items, gifted the rest as nothing I would use. Step it up—or I’ll be cancelling like many others. Take a look and listen to the people’s comments. We are paying customers and you need us happy. Thanks for reading!!

I joined for the winter box (2019), got bunch of leftovers I think. Totally disappointed. Gave the spring box a chance, again, totally unimpressed. Decided to give one last chance and looking at the summer stuff, I’m so unimpressed, I’m going to cancel. I’m thinking 3 strikes, you’re out. ☹️

So I have gotten three boxes so far. And the oast box spring was a huge disappointment and now seeing the summer stuff I'm really not impressed at all. FFF YOU RELLY NEED TO STEP UP YOUR GAME!! Realingball the comments I can see I'm not alone and a LOT of people are disappointed and not happy with what they got. A lot of your stuff ends up on ebay. Full boxes because the people didnt like the stuff. I loved my first two boxes but the last sucked and summer looks even worse then the spring box. I will be canceling and will tell my friends to skip the summer one as well. Hope you can step up and get good stuff like you had before.

I’m not loving nor really liking the Summer box. I took my Spring box to work and gifted it to my work wives and they were as unimpressed with the items in there as I was. I don’t think I will renew my annual subscription unless FFF knocks it out of the park in the Fall.

I also wasn’t a fan of the last box and the majority of one of my items (rose oil) spilled into its box and I still haven’t had a response to the email I sent letting FFF know about it. :( The non-response to my email along with the meh items in the upcoming box has me wondering if I’ll renew my subscription the next time.

I’m not going to lie last box was pretty unexciting, I’m in the UK so getting the box shipped over. I was super disappointed with the summer choices, honestly I feel like I have multiples of the items up for grabs already, I got a Kate spade cool bag in another box, sunglasses are such a personal choice etc. I usually find the summer boxes the best but not this one. I’m seasonal subscriber and cancelled the winter but took a chance with spring (which didn’t pay off) but I thought summer will be amazing as usual but unfortunately nope, pretty sad as I look forward to my FFF fix so so much, it usually a lovely little treat I typically look forward to, noW I feel I might be better saving the money? Maybe I’ll give autumn one last chance?

I have to agree with most here. The last box was ok. Hopefully there are other items besides these that are a little more exciting, still useful & unique. I was just telling a friend about fff today. I’m not sure if this box would be an incentive to start the subscription.

Spring box was terrible. There wasn’t a single thing in it that I liked or wanted. Gave it all away what a waste. The summer box looks just as disappointing maybe one or 2 things out of the above that I would keep. FFF do better or ill definitely be cancelling

Okay- I know a lot of people don’t like the items this season but as a young person just getting out of high school who’s very trendy these items are right on. Soooo trendy woven things and wicker baskets are really in, funky shaped glasses, and bright colors are all really popular right now. I love this style it’s super chic and honestly if you fallow fff Instagram or YouTube you can go see what the other things in the categories are if you dont like one certain thing don’t get it.. and there’s no reason for everyone to be rude. Don’t be a person that spreads negativity it’s sad! :(

Ewwww, is FFF serious about these items?? The springbok was so so and it seems as if the choice of items as of this year are going downhill. I do not want any one of those items above sent to me. And I do not know anyone that would want them either. So gifting them out would not be possible. If I have to choose one and the other selections are not that great I will be canceling also. If someone took over this department they need to be fired or demoted; for it looks as if their poor choices are going to lose a lot of customers.

I am also very disappointed with this box. This will be my 3rd box and it is a 3 strike your out box. My last 2 boxes where okay, but not great and the slippers I received in the last box were very cheap. They didnt even last 3 weeks.

I have to agree that all these "travel / outside" items are wildly inappropriate right now. A face mask, an option to make one item a donation to dirt responders/front-liners. Way off the mark. I know some of the items are "everyone gets one" but here's a chance to be really on point with the times we live in in a FFF way

Complaining about the summer box items doesn't seem fair since I'm pretty sure that alot of the items were chosen months ago to ensure delivery. Whatever I dont use I put in my gifting bin and gift out to those i know will appreciate it. This way I'm set for any last minutes birthdays. Can't please everyone as w/ anything in life.

I agree with the box not being good. I’ve only received my 2nd or 3rd box but, nothing exciting in the boxes. Not thrilled and will be canceling. I’d rather buy spend my money on something that I could use then spend money that will sit in my closet and collect dust. ????‍♀️

I’m looking forward to this box, but agree with many other commenters - the focus on travel and vacations seems in poor taste given that we are still in the midst of global pandemic. Many have been forced to cancel summer vacations, so I’m hoping there are some better options for at-home fun.

I wanted to treat myself with a yearly subscription. The first box was never mailed out and the summer box doesn’t seem to be very exciting! The items look good but they’re more or less useless and probably end up in someone’s clutter box. Waiting to be able to customize and hope for more fab and fun!

I have loved all the boxes I have received over the years. I do purchase the boxes to regift some of the items to my staff for Christmas. I am sad to hear that people think this year has not been as good. The value in the boxes are amazing and I really appreciate the work that gets put into them.

I have felt the exact same way as the other members; these boxes are going downhill! I have even received items which seem defective, or at the very least ineffective. They offer so many bags and less kitchen/household items I would really use! I have a yearly subscription and will be cancelling when it ends. Summer box looks crappy, so fall had better knock it out of the park!

It seems like we’re all in agreement that the last couple boxes (especially the last one) were very disappointing! After seeing what is going to offered in the next box it’s really got me considering canceling! I was over the moon with excitement when I first signed up and every box was AMAZING but the resent ones have a trend of being nothing but a total disappointment!!

Love the items that are coming. Excellent quality merchandise at a fab price. This is a great way to recieve and try items I wouldn't normally purchase myself and I have found great items and brands that love. FFF is doing an awesome job with the variety offered. I'm in my second year and always look forward to my next box.

I am so glad I am not the only one who has seen the downward spiral. My first two boxes were amazing. The last two were like a bunch of left overs they couldn't sell from the add on section. The same thing happened with stitchfix subscription I had. Starts off with a bang and then quality goes to sh*t. Its like these companies loose their spark and drive. Too bad. Guess I will have to leave this one too.

Excited about this box! Love everything!

Not very excited about this box. Last couple haven’t impressed me either. My first box was amazing but each subsequent box seemed to get worse. Quality of items offered seemed to be lacking as well.

Fff can you do something about this box? Not many people seem excited especially me. Sadly, I will probably be looking for a different subsription box program

We are getting all the rubbish in this box . Lately the box has been, Okay . Nothing too exciting . Waiting for my membership to end . Don’t think I will renew

Much like everyone else, disappointed. I want the diffuser, but wear prescription sunglasses, already have several bags, and the rest was...meh. I hope I can gift some of them and not look cheap. FFF, I think we're looking for things to make us happy while coming out of lockdown not wistfully hoping to travel.

Hate this summer box. Rethinking membership. I hope our choices are better than these or else in not buying.

I think the straw bag with the scarf will be the item I look forward to. Don’t really need or care for the others. I have read the other reviews.... are we cranky from being at home so long?

Not looking forward to this box either. Have enough bags and sunglasses are always too bad for my face. Hopefully there will be other options to choose from. Add-ons were a let down too. Things sold out in under ten minutes

I definitely won’t be continuing my membership when it is over. I haven’t liked the boxes at all lately. Not worth it!

This literally is just like last summers! Gunna be a pass from me - gunna check out the Canadian version - more pricey but the variety is better

Love getting the surprises, however, don’t need a bag with every one and I wear glasses so as much as I love them, sunglasses are a no go. Hope other surprises are great!

Hopefully there are choices ~its been a long isolation~ many are hoping for comfort ~ maybe the Fall Box can have dazzle! Right now its all about what can be done at home

If these are some of the items I actually get. Very cool. If I do not get these I may consider if I am going to stay subscribing. We will see. In these times I can not afford to upgrade.

This looks like an amazing box! All the items are high-end and perfect for summer. My only complaint about FFF is that’s it’s addicting! Guilty pleasure, but much needed. ????

This has been the smartest thing that I have done for myself in awhile. I always like my boxes and I get to try things that I might have not otherwise gotten or would have that of trying. You must see for yourself, you will love them.

Everything inside of these boxes are fabulous! Every box is so different and I’m smiling the entire time with my daughter when we reveal our items! Every item we say the same thing “NO WAY!” It’s awesome! ❤️????
