Online retailers and e-commerce brands have been blowing up the market with a nine percent increase in sales from last year — so it’s pretty clear that the online and mobile shopping craze isn’t dying down anytime soon.
But if you’re not the most tech-savvy lady, download these shopping apps to make mobile shopping a breeze.
MONA: Personal shopping assistant
Launched in 2015 by a team of former Amazon associates, this app learns your personal style based on feedback and emails from your previous purchases. It then uses this information to recommend new items that are similar to your shopping history, search for items that match your criteria based on price and design, and alert you about upcoming sales.
The Hunt: Community of fashionistas
iPhone users first caught a whiff of this shopping app when it launched in January 2013. The community-driven shopping experience allows users to post photos of pieces they’re looking for. Other users can then post links when those items become available and their current retail price. It even allows fellow fashionistas to send feedback on outfits.
Tictail: Refined Etsy for small brands
If you love independent brands, then this is the app for you. Much like Etsy, the app allows artisans to set up their own online stores for everything from small fashion brands to houseware labels. It allows users to search for discounted items, but the focus is more so on finding one-of-a-kind pieces.
Shopami: Discount allocator
Good news, Apple and Android users — with Shopami, you never have to miss a deal from any of your favorite brands again. Simply enter your email, and the app will notify you when a discount is about to expire or when there’s a deal nearby.
Stylect: Shoe lover’s bread and butter
This app uses the tagline as the place to find “all the shoes in the world,” and with more than 10,000 shoe brands available in its directory, it’s probably true! Dubbed the Tinder of shoe shopping, the app allows women to swipe right if a shoe is hot and swipe left if a shoe is not. You can filter based on size, style, brand, price, and pretty much any criteria to find exactly what you’re looking for.
LIKEtoKNOW.it: Social media savvy shopping experience
This app is a gamechanger. Screenshot your favorite fashionistas on Instagram or Snapchat, and this handy app will allow you to shop based on your screenshots. All of your likes and screenshots are saved in one place and ready to shop with just a tap.
