It always warms our hearts when people come together after a tragic event. A week has passed since the Manchester bombing following Ariana Grande’s concert, and people are honoring the victims by getting bee tattoos.

The worker bee has long been the symbol of Manchester to reflect the city of industry, which is why tattoo artist, Sam Barber, found it fitting to express the solidarity and support for the victims and their families with bee tattoos.

Barber also created a crowdfunding page to raise funds for the families affected by the tragedy, which has already racked up over 200,000 pounds, exceeding the original goal — 100 percent of the donations are going directly toward the cause.

With the tattoo movement quickly going viral, people are lining up at tattoo parlors all over the world. In order to get the Manchester tattoo, most tattoo artists are requesting a minimum donation of 50 pounds (approximately $64), but others are willing to lower the cost for anyone who can’t afford it if it means more people can join the movement.
