2019 is going to be an epic year for Disney lovers. From multiple live remakes to sequels of Disney classics, you won’t be disappointed by this year’s movie lineup.

Get your calendars out – we narrowed it down to our top eight releases below.

Captain Marvel (March 8)

The highly-anticipated film Captain Marvel will star Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, and Jude Law. It’s about time Marvel released a female-led superhero film.

Dumbo (March 29)

With Tim Burton in the director’s seat, the live-action remake of the 1941 animated movie is sure to be iconic. Not to mention, the star-studded cast features Michael Keaton, Danny Devito, Eva Green, and Colin Farrell. If it’s anything like the original, we’ll be ready with some tissues!

Avengers: Endgame (April 26)

Avengers: Endgame is picking up right where it left off – at the annihilation of humanity thanks to Thanos. With fans eagerly awaiting answers about Tony Stark’s fate, when Hawkeye will arrive, and if Captain Marvel will play a hand in saving the world, this might just be the biggest movie of the summer.

Aladdin (May 24)

Ready to see Will Smith’s rendition of Genie? Plus, the original composer of the 1994 animated film is returning with new versions of the original music. We’re calling it now – this is going to be the Disney soundtrack of summer!

Toy Story 4 (June 20)

The fourth installment of the Toy Story movie franchise has been a long-anticipated one. With the buzz of new characters and the return of Woody’s epic love, Toy Story 4 promises to be another fun and tearful Pixar flick.

The Lion King (July 19)

1994’s The Lion King has a special place in our hearts, which is why we’re stoked for the live-action reboot with an all-star cast including Beyoncé, Donald Glover (Childish Gambino), and James Earl Jones.

Artemis Fowl (August 9)

Based on the book, the film follows a young criminal mastermind who finds a world full of mythical beings and fairies. It’s basically Fantastic Beasts meets Die Hard, so, yes, we’re pretty pumped.

Frozen 2 (November 22)

Disney’s highest-grossing animated movie is back with a sequel. Though the studio has been tight-lipped about the plot, we’re sure if it’s anything like the original, it’s going to be amazing. Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, and Josh Gad will return to reprise their roles and hopefully save the day once again.
