Forget Bachelor<\/em> Monday, Oscar Sunday is finally upon us! There is nothing better than being glued to the couch with your favorite sweatpants on, judging all the nominees and their dates’ fashion choices as they walk the red carpet.<\/p>\n

And while there are usually a few fashion flops, the winning looks are the ones that stay in our minds from year to year. Here are some of our favorite fashion moments from ladies that took home the best date of all, Oscar himself.<\/p>\n

Floating across the red carpet in a Prada gown, you would’ve never have known that it was her first time attending the Academy Awards. Especially when the Oscar rookie snagged the Best Supporting Actress award for 12 Years a Slave<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\nDressed like the goddess she is, Meryl Streep rocked a draped Lavin gown when she showed up to the awards in 2012. And what better accessory than a matching gold Oscar she won later that night for Best Actress for The Iron Lady<\/em>?!<\/p>\n

\nWe fell<\/em> for this Dior Couture gown as soon as we saw it on the red carpet. While she looked flawless, Jennifer famously tripped up the stairs on her way to accept the Best Actress Academy Award for her role in Silver Linings Playbook<\/em>. (But at least she looked like a princess doing it!)<\/p>\n
