Instead, turn off your electronics an hour before you hit the hay and take that time to prep for the next morning &#8212; whether you make your lunch or pack your gym bag. That way, you&#8217;re giving yourself and your brain a chance to\u00a0disconnect and relax.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Set a Bedtime<br \/>\n<\/strong>Get yourself into the habit of going to <a href=\"http:\/\/dailyburn.com\/life\/lifestyle\/how-to-become-a-morning-person\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bed and waking up at the same time<\/a> every day &#8212; and make sure you&#8217;re getting six to eight hours of sleep!\u00a0It&#8217;ll\u00a0train\u00a0your body to get used to\u00a0waking up at a certain time, which will eventually make the mornings easier and more enjoyable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step Away From the Snooze Button<\/strong><br \/>\nWe know, we know. You want\u00a0that extra five minutes of slumber once the alarm goes off. But\u00a0it won&#8217;t do you any good because\u00a0your\u00a0body has already been disrupted by the alarm. So instead of trying to go back to sleep, use this time to stretch your body and work your way out of bed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Give Yourself an A.M. Reward<\/strong><br \/>\nTreat yourself to a little something once you&#8217;re awake and ready to start the day!
