The Gilmore Girls<\/em> are back! After what seemed like years (wait, it did take years), our favorite citizens of Stars Hollow reunited for a four-part mini series on Netflix.<\/p>\n

The first episodes, Winter<\/em> and Spring<\/em>, definitely didn’t disappoint, but just in case you haven’t had time to watch the show, here’s a list of\u00a0everything you missed. Warning: spoilers ahead!<\/p>\n

Grab some pop tarts and dig in.<\/p>\n

The first few moments gave us\u00a0all the feels.<\/strong> A voice-over montage of some of the most iconic lines of the show played\u00a0over the opening credits, which took us back to past memories of the show. As soon as Lorelai said, “I smell snow,” we saw a small snow covered town with a quaint gazebo. Lorelai sat\u00a0on the gazebo steps drinking her coffee and\u00a0Rory sat\u00a0beside her. With a rapid-fire conversation, more coffee, and some tacos, it felt\u00a0like no time had\u00a0gone by.<\/p>\n

One of Rory\u2019s articles is\u00a0in The New Yorker. <\/strong>Luke even placed\u00a0a copy of the article on the back of his menus just to show how proud he was. The\u00a0article, however, was just about the only thing that was going right with Rory\u2019s career.<\/p>\n

Rory has a boyfriend that everyone, including Rory, forgets about. <\/strong>Though she and Paul (or is it Pete? Patrick?) were\u00a0dating for a while, it\u2019s nothing special.<\/p>\n

Lorelai and Luke are living\u00a0together.<\/strong> The relationship we’ve always wanted to happen was\u00a0still going strong, but not exactly moving forward. Though they discussed having kids, they tabled the idea and continued as\u00a0“roommates” — at least that’s what Emily called them.<\/p>\n

Emily Gilmore actually kept a maid.<\/strong> In all seven season of the show, it was a widely known fact that there would\u00a0be a new maid-or two in every episode. Now, with Richard gone, the house seemed quiet, so when the maid’s husband and kids showed up to live at the house, Emily put them to work. Did\u00a0Emily find\u00a0the perfect maid, or is it because she felt\u00a0alone with no one else in the house?<\/p>\n

Richard\u2019s absence leaves a big whole in everyone\u2019s hearts. <\/strong>Whether it\u2019s because we saw Richard\u2019s giant portrait on the wall or saw\u00a0Emily throw out the dining chairs because they didn’t\u00a0bring her joy, we know that Richard\u2019s death really hit the family hard.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Rory is not so innocent anymore.<\/strong> Despite having a boyfriend, Rory stayed\u00a0with Logan every time she was\u00a0in London and was totally fine with the “friends with benefits” situation. Oh, and she had\u00a0been lying to Lorelai about this for a while. Rory even got\u00a0incredibly drunk and slept\u00a0with a Wookiee! (Yep, you read that last part right.)<\/p>\n

Mr. Kim makes an appearance. <\/strong>We never saw him once while the show was on air, but just for a few moments, we saw for ourselves that Mr. Kim really did\u00a0exist.<\/p>\n

The Dragonfly has a new chef- or series of chefs. <\/strong> Sookie was on sabbatical to find new food creations, and whoever they found\u00a0to take over has some big shoes to fill. Lorelai tested\u00a0out several chefs during \u201cpop-up\u201d events, but no one felt\u00a0right. She even hired\u00a0and fired\u00a0celebrity chef Rachel Ray. It just goes to show that no one can\u00a0ever take Sookie\u2019s place.<\/p>\n

Paris may be the most sought after fertility and surrogacy specialist, but she\u2019s still Paris Gellar. <\/strong> Yes, she showed\u00a0Luke and Lorelai the ropes when it came\u00a0to having a baby via surrogacy, but it\u00a0wasn’t her fancy job that we loved the most. Paris\u2019s awkward relationship with her children, her attitude toward her divorce with Doyle, and her ability to make almost\u00a0anyone break into tears after a few minutes with her still showed\u00a0that Paris is the same girl we can\u2019t get enough of.<\/p>\n

Richard leaves Luke money. <\/strong>Richard\u2019s will stated\u00a0that an allotment of money should go to Luke to franchise the diner. Luke ended\u00a0up looking at possible locations with Emily, but didn’t\u00a0tell Lorelai because he was upset that Lorelai didn\u2019t tell him that she was going to therapy.<\/p>\n

Hep Alien still totally rocks.<\/strong> Enough said.<\/p>\n
