The brand known for it&#8217;s delicious hummus <a href=\"http:\/\/sabra.com\/recall\" target=\"_blank\">has just issued a recall<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Any customers who purchased Sabra hummus with a &#8220;best before&#8221; date of Jan. 23, 2017 or earlier <a href=\"http:\/\/www.glamour.com\/story\/sabra-just-recalled-a-ton-of-its-delicious-hummus-products\" target=\"_blank\">are encouraged to discard the product<\/a>. Sabra voluntarily recalled their products when they found traces of\u00a0Listeria monocytogenes (it\u00a0can cause <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/listeria\/\" target=\"_blank\">serious infections<\/a> if ingested) at their manufacturing facility.<\/p>\n<p>Though no traces were found in the packaged hummus, Sabra\u00a0followed new FDA criteria regarding &#8220;presence of contaminants in the general environment.&#8221; In response to the recall, CEO Shali Shalit Shoval said,\u00a0&#8220;Working closely with the above mentioned experts, we are striving to exceed that and lead the industry in food safety.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>To receive a refund for affected products, you can visit <a href=\"http:\/\/sabrahummusrecall.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">this website<\/a>.
