Hilary Duff\u00a0recently got candid<\/a>\u00a0about marriage and monogamy.<\/p>\n

She spoke on her\u00a0Younger<\/em> co-star Nico Tortorella’s podcast,\u00a0The Love Bomb<\/em>,\u00a0about how she met ex-husband, Mike Comrie, at\u00a019-years-old and and got married at 22-years-old.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know any other way until now. Obviously I\u2019m divorced, and it\u2019s never seemed harder to have a life outside of my relationship,\u201d she said. \u201cIt just seems scarier than ever because of how much attention celebrities get because of their personal life now and how much focus is on that and how much one person can say one thing and how much impact it can have. It\u2019s crazy.”<\/p>\n

Duff emphasized that she and Comrie still have a loving relationship, and that while she is a traditionalist in the sense of monogamy, that doesn’t necessarily mean she will get married again.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t feel the need,\u201d she said. \u201cI got to have the experience and it was awesome. I guess if it mattered to someone else that much, I would consider it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Currently, Duff is in a relationship with her personal trainer, Jason Walsh, and said that she does believe in monogamy, but understands the struggle for many people.<\/p>\n
