Halloween and Thanksgiving are right around the corner, so obviously pumpkins\u00a0are soon to become a fixture\u00a0on office desks, front porches, and storefronts. So, you’re probably wondering how your little squash is going to stand out.<\/p>\n

Get your paints out\u00a0and\u00a0try these easy DIYs. You’ll add\u00a0chic (and ‘gram-worthy) flair to your fall decor, and you can even keep these out all year round.<\/p>\n

Doughnut Pumpkin<\/b><\/h3>\n

Supplies<\/strong>
\n1 small or medium white pumpkin
\nPink acrylic paint
\nVarious acrylic paints or watercolor
\nFoam brush
\nSmall brush<\/p>\n

Directions<\/strong>
\n1. Use foam brush to paint doughnut frosting onto upper half of pumpkin
\n2. Let pumpkin dry for 15-20 minutes
\n3. Use small brush to paint sprinkles onto frosting with various colors of choice<\/p>\n

Boo! Pumpkin<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Supplies<\/strong>
\n1 medium or large pumpkin
\nGold spray paint
\nWhite acrylic paint
\nBlack acrlylic paint
\nBlack permanent marker
\nPencil
\nFoam brush
\nSmall brush<\/p>\n

Directions<\/strong>
\n1. Spray\u00a0paint pumpkin stem gold and let dry for 15 minutes
\n2. Use foam brush to paint pumpkin completely white and let dry for 15-20 minutes (note: it may\u00a0take a few\u00a0coats of white paint)
\n3. Trace “Boo!” or desired phrase onto pumpkin with pencil
\n4. Fill in tracing with\u00a0black marker and black paint<\/p>\n

Gold Dipped Pumpkin<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Supplies<\/strong>
\n1 small or medium pumpkin
\nWhite acrylic paint
\nGold spray paint
\nMasking tape or washi tape
\nFoam\u00a0brush<\/p>\n

Directions<\/strong>
\n1. Tape top\u00a0half of pumpkin or desired portion (make sure to cover it completely!)
\n2. Spray paint untaped portion with gold spray paint and allow to dry for 15 minutes
\n3. Take tape off and use foam brush to paint other half and let dry for 15 minutes<\/p>\n

Resting Witch Face Pumpkin<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Supplies<\/strong>
\n1 medium or large sized pumpkin
\nPink acrylic paint
\nBlack acrylic paint
\nBlack permanent marker
\nPencil
\nFoam brush
\nSmall paintbrush<\/p>\n

Directions<\/strong>
\n1. Use foam brush to paint entire pumpkin pink and\u00a0let dry for 15-20 minutes
\n2. Use small brush to paint stem and top portion of pumpkin to create a witch hat and let dry for 15-20 minutes
\n3. Trace\u00a0“Resting Witch Face” or desired phrase onto pumpkin with pencil
\n4. Fill in tracing with black marker and black paint
\n5. Optional: Draw a broom with black paint or black marker and paint the wicks of the broom<\/p>\n
