It&#8217;s just one of many filters\u00a0that has come under fire (Snapchat featured\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/tech\/2016\/04\/20\/snapchat-under-fire-blackface-filter\/83284206\/\" target=\"_blank\">a Bob Marley filter<\/a>\u00a0which users accused of digital blackface).<\/p>\n<p>When asked to comment, Snapchat told\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/mashable.com\/2016\/08\/10\/yellowface-snapchat-filter\/#j9fJjfnTe5qf\" target=\"_blank\">Mashable<\/a>, &#8220;This anime-inspired lens has already expired, and won&#8217;t be put back into circulation. Lenses are meant to be playful and never to offend.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Snapchat has since taken down the filter after users posted complaints.<\/p>\n<p>What are your thoughts?
