The specific cockroach that produces this sort of milk is the only one\u00a0of its kind\u00a0to give birth to live young.<\/p>\n<p>The crystals in the cockroach milk are a &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/city\/kolkata\/Roach-milk-proteins-fantastic-food-supplement\/articleshow\/53268325.cms\" target=\"_blank\">complete food<\/a>&#8221; and contain proteins, fats, and sugars &#8212; just like cow&#8217;s milk. It can also be a &#8220;fantastic protein supplement&#8221; and potentially a better alternative to milk (as it has more nutrients) for those who are undernourished.<\/p>\n<p>But don&#8217;t worry&#8230; cockroach milk won&#8217;t be hitting your grocery shelves anytime soon. If anything, researchers can replicate the protein in the lab and create cockroach-inspired milk instead of milking actual cockroaches (yes, sounds disgusting).<\/p>\n<p>Would you try cockroach milk?
