And when it comes down to it, open communication is the best way partners can come to resolutions with one another.

You want to love and be loved in a relationship and if there outside factors are deterring you or your partner from doing that, it’s time to reevaluate. Below are a few relationship issues you shouldn’t let slide:

Doesn’t Introduce You to Their Friends
We all know how important our friends are in our lives. And if your partner isn’t telling you about them or bringing you around them, this is a red flag! Your partner should be wanting to show you off and introducing you to important people in his life because you’re important, too.

Cheating
This isn’t limited to just hooking up with someone else. If your partner is emotionally cheating on you, this is also an issue! It’s not OK for your partner to text or call other people and feel some type of way with them. You want someone to be committed to you and only you.

Dismissive of Your Feelings
You should be able to approach your partner comfortably to discuss any issues that are bothering you, especially if it’s about your relationship. Communication is essential to a healthy and long lasting relationship. This goes for things including your political, religious or just personal views.

They Only Do Things They Want To
Your partner should be willing to compromise and do things for you whether it be going to your aunt’s brunch or attending their coworker’s wedding. If they’re hesitant to do so but expect you to go above and beyond, it’s time to reevaluate your relationship.

They’re Rude to Your Family
Meeting your partner’s family and vice versa is already stressful. If your honey comes over to meet your folks and they’re rude to your parents, don’t respect the house rules, and just seem disinterested in getting to know them, it’s time to let them go. Don’t let someone who can’t even respect your family be part of your life.

They Never Make You Feel Special
No, we don’t mean you need to be constantly showered with gifts and compliments. But if your partner never gives you that warm, fuzzy feeling then that’s a bad sign. You’re a catch and your partner should always remind you that you’re loved and cared for.

Your Partner Doesn’t Respect You
You need someone to back you up, support you in tough situations, and agree on give and take. Especially when it comes to topics you both disagree on, they need to (at the very least) respect your opinions and understand that you both can have different perspectives.

They Don’t Have Other Friends
It’s just you and your partner, and they expect you to hang out with them all the time. If your partner doesn’t have friends, it’s not a very good sign — especially if they ditched their buds since you started dating. Having separate lives from each other is just as important as finding time to spend time with one another.

They Flirt with Other People in Front of You
If you’re at a party and they spend more time eyeing a person they just met than talking with you, it’s a problem. There’s a big difference between being social with someone and flirting with someone. Tell your partner if their interactions with someone else is making you uncomfortable. They should be willing to fix the problem immediately, and if not, it’s time to say “boy, bye.”

Poor Hygiene
If your partner has bad breath or b.o. on the reg, that’s gross. If they can’t even take care of themselves, how will they be able to take care of you?

xx, The FabFitFun Team

Relationships are hard -- especially when conflicts arise and you have to either forgive and forget or ...
[260,270

https://static.fabfitfun.com/magazine/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/14160639/shutterstock_82818238-660x400.jpg
