The 1996 hit song Wannabe<\/em> by Spice Girls got a slight makeover<\/a> — and we’re diggin’ it.<\/p>\n

Women all around the world including India, South Africa, and the United Kingdom created a lip sync video with amazing dance moves to further push the boundaries of gender inequality.<\/p>\n

There are signs in the background of the video which call out what women “really, really want” including topics like:<\/p>\n

End violence against girls.<\/p>\n

Quality education for all girls.<\/p>\n

End child marriage.<\/p>\n

Equal pay for equal work.<\/p>\n

The end of the video encourages women to share what they desire with the hashtag #WhatIReallyReallyWant and submissions will be shared with leaders during the U.N. Sustainable Development Summit in September.<\/p>\n

People all around the world have already been sharing their thoughts on what they want for girls and women\u00a0and even Posh Spice has joined the movement.<\/p>\n

This video was produced by\u00a0Project Everyone<\/a>\u00a0which is an organization that works to spread awareness about\u00a0the U.N.’s Global Sustainability Goals<\/a>. The\u00a0U.N. has a list of 17 goals they’d like to achieve by 2030 and this video specifically targets goal number five:\u00a0gender equality.<\/p>\n
