Yep, Game of Thrones<\/em> is already coming to the end of its sixth season — and we couldn\u2019t be more stoked for the finale. Last week\u2019s episode<\/a> was the highest rated of the series, but the finale just might top that.<\/p>\n

Our fave show is always full of insane, jaw-dropping surprises, but we took a stab to predict what the highly anticipated episode might bring. (Warning: the following article contains major spoilers!)<\/p>\n

King\u2019s Landing Will Burn<\/strong>
\nIn episode 8, Tommen decreed that there will be no more trial by combat, so Cersei and Loras will be standing trial before the 7 septas. Even though Cersei was able to hide her twincestuous relationship with Jaime, her cousin Lancel is bound to speak up about their extramarital relationship. Basically, Cersei is screwed — and she knows it.<\/p>\n

And the \u201crumor<\/a>\u201d she spoke to Qyburn about? There were caches of wildfire all around King\u2019s Landing. This theory was somewhat confirmed in episode 9 when Tyrion conveniently alluded to this when he was speaking with Daenarys. We suspect that if, and when, she is found guilty, she will literally burn the sept and other key buildings in King\u2019s Landing and Tommen will die in the process. The witch that predicted Cersei\u2019s future told her that all of her children would die — Tommen is her last living child and him dying at the hands of his Mother wouldn\u2019t be an all-too-shocking twist.<\/p>\n

The Onion Knight vs. The Red Priestess<\/strong>
\nSir Davos has hated Melisandre since they first appeared on the show. With Stannis Baratheon, the two clashed constantly as they tried to advise their king from different standpoints: Davos with logic and Melisandre with religion. Stannis always listened to the Red Priestess, which ultimately led to his defeat and death. Last episode<\/a>, however, Davos found the ashes of the pyre on which Shireen was sacrificed. And inside was the stag figurine he made for the princess. In the finale sneak peek, Davos is glaring at Melisandre while holding the stag — we don\u2019t know how it\u2019ll end, but it\u2019s a safe bet that he\u2019s going after her.<\/p>\n

Jon\u2019s Mother is Revealed<\/strong>
\nJon\u2019s trip into the Winterfell crypt or Bran having another vision will confirm a long-standing theory about Jon\u2019s ancestral background — that he\u2019s a Targaryen. Now for some back story if you didn\u2019t catch it: Lyanna Stark (who our favorite lady, Lyanna Mormont, was named after) was Ned\u2019s younger sister. She was supposed to be married to Robert Baratheon, but was kidnapped by Rhaegar Targaryen, who was enchanted by her beauty. In episode 3 of this season, we witnessed a young Ned and his squad fight two Targaryen bannermen. It was badass. The Tower of Joy (in the background) is where Lyanna was held captive by Rhaegar and why Ned was there in the first place. When she is heard screaming, she wasn\u2019t being murdered, and actually her giving birth to a son. Ned rushes up and arrives in time for her to say her last words, \u201cPromise me, Ned.\u201d The promise is unknown, but it\u2019s speculated that Ned promised to raise the baby, Jon, as his own and to keep his origins a secret, which is why he told everyone that Jon was a bastard.<\/p>\n

The Wall Will Fall<\/strong>
\nBran, reunited with his zombie uncle Benjen, is on the move and will presumably head South towards the Wall. During one of his visions, Bran was \u201cmarked\u201d by the Night King, which not only led the White Walkers to the Three-Eyed Raven\u2019s cave, but also broke the magical barrier that surrounded it. The Wall, which has been said to be protected by magic, will no longer be safe once Bran reaches it and will collapse. There is a white raven in the preview, and in Game of Thrones lore, white ravens are more intellectual and uncommon than the black ravens that are typically used to communicate across the Seven Kingdoms. Due to their rarity, white ravens are only used by the Maesters to communicate critical information, like drastic changes in the weather — winter is here.<\/p>\n
