The man bun is officially dead thanks to Kit Harington (aka Jon Snow from HBO’s hit show Game of Thrones<\/a>). <\/i>He’s only\u00a0<\/span>the<\/em> hottest actor of the moment — and he’s the sole reason that man perms or “merms” are a legit trend.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“It’s definitely become bigger in this year alone,” Sara Benitez of NYC-based salon Hayato, told Mashable<\/a>. “It’s very of-the-moment.”\u00a0She also noted that perms “give men definition and texture \u2014 and of course, sex appeal.”<\/p>\n

We can definitely\u00a0attest to the sex appeal of those\u00a0ringlets!<\/p>\n

How do you ask for the “merm” at your hair salon?\u00a0Benitez told\u00a0Mashable<\/a> that instead of tight ringlets — you know, the perm you had back in the ’90s — men are requesting tousled, soft waves.<\/p>\n
