All you need to do is turn down a different street, and you\u2019ll start to notice\u00a0things you\u2019ve never seen\u00a0before. A simple change in scenery can help\u00a0make your commute a lot better and refresh your state of mind.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Give\u00a0Yourself Plenty of Time<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you\u2019re the type to run late, double the time you think it\u2019s going to take to arrive at your destination. This will encourage you to get ready earlier and will ease the rush of all your errands before you head out. Plus, traffic will never make you late again.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Set\u00a0Your Intentions<\/strong><br \/>\nPut meaning into everything you do whether it be your job, hanging out with friends, or working out. Don&#8217;t do anything just for the sake of doing it. Be present in every situation and intend to evoke happiness!\u00a0With a good intention in mind, you&#8217;ll see the bigger picture and recognize\u00a0the surroundings that make it so great.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Brief Moment of Silence<\/strong><br \/>\nMany people find this to be pointless, but you can make it what\u00a0you want it to be. Whether you close your eyes and lie on your bed or take a walk without your phone, just let yourself be for a few minutes. Forget about\u00a0your to-do list for a second\u00a0and let your surroundings melt away. Afterwards, you&#8217;ll feel less tense and anxious.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Don\u2019t\u00a0Be Afraid to Say No<\/strong><br \/>\nYou\u2019ve\u00a0likely\u00a0heard this before but remind yourself that it&#8217;s okay to say no. It&#8217;s better to turn something down, whether it be a favor or an invitation to dinner, rather than making the commitment and breaking it later. With less clutter in your schedule, you can give your undivided attention to what really matters to you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Schedule Time for You<\/strong><br \/>\nHave a date night for yourself or with your loved ones. Make the effort to block out an hour or two in your schedule to relax &#8212; you&#8217;re more likely to do it if its actually written\u00a0in your calendar, too.
