{"id":77101,"date":"2016-03-29T11:41:47","date_gmt":"2016-03-29T18:41:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fabfitfun.com\/magazine\/?p=77101"},"modified":"2016-03-29T11:41:47","modified_gmt":"2016-03-29T18:41:47","slug":"adele-has-a-few-things-to-say-about-breastfeeding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fabfitfun.com\/magazine\/adele-has-a-few-things-to-say-about-breastfeeding\/","title":{"rendered":"Adele Has a Few Things to Say About Breastfeeding"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.today.com\/parents\/adele-blasts-those-who-pressure-moms-breast-feed-some-us-t82891?cid=sm_fbn\" target=\"_blank\">Adele gave it her all<\/a> at a recent show in London &#8212; and not just with her amazing vocals.<\/p>\n<p>A fan in the audience asked Adele about her thoughts on breastfeeding and she addressed the question with a few thoughts of her own.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut you know what, the pressure on us is f*cking ridiculous,\u201d Adele said. \u201cIt\u2019s hard &#8212; some of us can\u2019t do it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She went on to say how a few of her friends had postpartum depression due to the pressure women receive regarding breastfeeding. This all comes after <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.co.uk\/entry\/jamie-oliver-breastfeeding-campaign_uk_56ebd22be4b0cc1ede8be24f\" target=\"_blank\">Jamie Oliver\u2019s statement<\/a> to push for wider acceptance of breastfeeding in Britain, in addition to stating that breastfeeding is \u201c&#8230;easy, it\u2019s more convenient.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Adele also noted that she loved breastfeeding her son Angelo, but it did get difficult.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c&#8230;All I wanted to do was breastfeed my kid. And then I couldn\u2019t, and then I felt like, \u2018If I was in the jungle formula now &#8212; back in the day &#8212; my kid would be dead because my milk\u2019s gone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Adele sympathized with women who cannot breastfeed due to health or lifestyle reasons &#8212; and we\u2019re all for it!
