If there is one thing we learned from this past year, it\u2019s that long mermaid-length hair is out and super short cuts are in. The movement may have started with the lob (read: long bob), led by celebrities like Khloe Kardashian, Lucy Hale, and Jenna Dewan-Tatum, but the trend evolved towards shorter and shorter strands.<\/p>\n

Some people can pull off both the long and the short version of the ubiquitous bob haircut \u2014 we’re talking to you Taylor Swift \u2014 while others look better in one versus the other. Thinking about going for the chop? Find your face shape to determine which style looks better: the lob or the bob.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong>Cropped bobs may emphasize the circular faces and come off as a bit harsh, so if you\u2019re round-shaped like Selena Gomez, choose a lob with lots of texture. The collarbone-grazing length will elongate a round face and suit it perfectly.<\/p>\n
