After years of experience in film and production, Alex Williamson was offered a three-month contract at Bumble to oversee the brand’s social media. Now, she works as the Chief Brand Officer and has since helped shape the brand to what it is today.<\/p>\n

Why do you think it’s important for women to be in positions of leadership?<\/strong><\/em>
\nRepresentation matters. In order to cultivate the next generation of leaders, future leaders need to see people who look like them in a various array of leadership positions across many industries. That also means we need diverse representation in leadership across all genders, sexual orientations, ethnicities, and socio-economic backgrounds.<\/p>\n

What does success mean to you?<\/strong><\/em>
\nSuccess is being able to look yourself in the mirror and see a person who you are proud to know. For me, this is rooted in values and integrity, and knowing that I\u2019ve tried my best to put good in the world. I think you can do this wherever you are, in whatever job you have.<\/p>\n
