The final season of HBO\u2019s Game of Thrones<\/em> has so far lived up to fans’ high expectations. The first few episodes of the season have each been explosive and surprising in its own way and the third episode, The Long Night<\/em>, has been the most intense yet.<\/p>\n

After watching the epic Battle of Winterfell go down, fans can\u2019t help but hop on the internet and theorize about all of the things that might happen in the rest of the season, and some of the theories are too interesting to ignore.<\/p>\n

From questions surrounding whether the Night King is really dead to how Cersei will go down, here are some of our favorite\u00a0GoT<\/em> theories.\u00a0Oh, and warning: Major spoilers ahead.<\/p>\n

Arya is going to kill Cersei<\/strong>
\nIn season three, episode six, Melisandre told Arya, \u201cI see a darkness in you. And in that darkness, eyes staring back at me. Brown eyes, blue eyes, green eyes. Eyes you\u2019ll shut forever. Arya killed Meryn Trant (who had brown eyes) and the Night King (who had blue eyes), so fans<\/a> are speculating that Arya will fulfill her prophecy by killing Cersei who has green eyes.<\/p>\n

Bran is actually the Night King<\/strong>
\nA long-standing GoT<\/em> theory is that Bran<\/a> is actually the Night King. Even though Arya defeated the Night King, fans are theorizing<\/a> that at some point, Bran will warg his way into the Night King to stop the Children of the Forest from ever creating the army of the undead.<\/p>\n

Arya is Azor Ahai<\/strong>
\nAzor Ahai is a legendary savior who supposedly fought off the White Walkers and prevented the Long Night thousands of years ago. He’s thought to have been reborn so he could defeat the army of the undead again. There have been a lot of theories about who \u201che\u201d is, and fans now believe it\u2019s Arya<\/a> because of her last conversation with Melisandre about how Lord Beric was kept alive to save Arya for a reason and also because Arya defeated the Night King.<\/p>\n

The Night King isn\u2019t actually gone<\/strong>
\nMany fans feel that the fall of the Night King was too quick and are convinced a new Night King will be created. After all, you just need to stab dragon glass through someone\u2019s heart to do so. Since the Night King wasn’t destroyed in a way that totally fulfilled the prophecy, some think the North<\/a> will recreate the White Walkers in order to destroy Cersei while others think Jon Snow will sacrifice himself to be the Night King.<\/p>\n

Jaime will kill Cersei<\/strong>
\nNot everyone is convinced Arya will be the one who kills Cersei. Some fans are sure it will be Jaime, which would be the ultimate act of betrayal. Another\u00a0theory<\/a> is that Arya will kill Jaime (who has green eyes) and use his face to kill Cersei.<\/p>\n
