She wasn&#8217;t afraid to speak her mind and her lyrics encouraged women to unapologetically be themselves in classic songs like <em>Respect<\/em> and <em>Think<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rocked her way to success<br \/>\n<\/strong>It&#8217;s no secret that Franklin filled the hearts of fans and music lovers alike. She became the first woman admitted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with 18 Grammy Awards, 88 Billboard hits, and more than two dozen Top 40 hits.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Created her own style<br \/>\n<\/strong>Franklin&#8217;s unique blend of R&amp;B, gospel, and soul created a whole new sound unlike anything before.
