Keep your list near you or somewhere on display, and it&#8217;ll remind you what you&#8217;re working towards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Get creative with cardio<br \/>\n<\/strong>&#8220;Cardio is king when you are trying to get fit,&#8221; says <a href=\"http:\/\/precisionsportsperformance.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Meg Furstoss, MS, NSCA-CSCS<\/a>. If you don&#8217;t love cardio, try getting creative with what activities you do, considering something like rebound jumping on a trampoline. &#8220;It\u2019s a full body high intensity workout that targets your large muscle groups, like calves, quads, glutes, and core,&#8221; she says. &#8220;It also works to strengthen your balance.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Work out with a friend<br \/>\n<\/strong>Not only is working out with a friend more fun, but it can also help push you to work even harder. Studies show that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedaily.com\/releases\/2011\/05\/110518161707.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">working out with a partner improves your motivation<\/a>, which can help you get to the gym in the first place, but it can also improve your performance once you&#8217;re there. Participants of a study who were paired with a slightly stronger virtual exercise partner held a plank for longer compared to when they worked out alone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Schedule in your workouts<br \/>\n<\/strong>Sometimes life gets in the way and we don&#8217;t have time to go for that run, but start to view your workouts as a commitment.
