\nDepending on the shape of your eye or your desired lash look, it’s best to talk with your technician about what style will work best for you. If you have hooded or deep-set eyes, you’ll want to opt for the curliest version of lashes so your eyes appear more open. If you have round, almond, or a cat-eye shape, lashes will help accentuate your features.<\/p>\n
\nThe initial application of your extensions will take about two hours. During this time you’ll need to lie down and be still with your eyes closed (a lot of people say they fall asleep during the process). If you aren’t good at sitting still for a long period of time, this process may prove stressful for you.<\/p>\n
\nThe glue used to hold your extensions in place shouldn’t get into your eyes since they’ll be closed. If you notice any pain, itchiness, or irritation, tell your technician ASAP. They may need to use a different type of glue or your eyes might be too sensitive for extensions.<\/p>\n
\nEyelash extensions require extra care and attention to prevent them from falling out and to help them last as long as possible. Experts suggest switching up your daily routine including sleeping on a silk pillowcase, drying lashes after getting them wet (this includes crying), and avoid touching them once you’ve applied mascara (unless it’s with an eyelash brush or spool).<\/p>\n
\nLashes can cost anywhere from $100 to $500 for the first application and $75 to $100 for touch-ups. You’ll also need to have your extensions touched up every month to achieve the ultimate lash look. The process isn’t cheap, but if you’re looking for fuller, longer lashes it’s worth every penny.<\/p>\n
