Luckily, there are a number of ways you can stay on track even while you&#8217;re at your nine to five.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Here are five\u00a0quick tricks to help you stay healthy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Set an alarm to stand up<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sitting all day is one of the worst things you can do for your health. Not only is it linked to an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/entry\/sitting-health-effects_us_57b4b4e3e4b095b2f5421a58\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">increased risk<\/a> of diabetes, heart disease, and cancer, but it can also cause anxiety. Schedule time in your day to get up and move.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThere are apps you can get for your computer that remind you to stand every hour, and some gadgets, like the Apple Watch, also have this feature,\u201d says <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nutritionalanatalie.com\/\">Natalie Rizzo, a registered dietician<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cOr, get up and go talk to a coworker that you would normally call on the phone.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Have your own snacks<br \/>\n<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Stock up on healthy snacks so you&#8217;re not tempted to go for the bag of chips in the communal kitchen. \u201cIt\u2019s much easier to eat healthy when you stock your desk with healthy snacks,\u201d says Rizzo. \u201cFor this, I also like to rely on pulses and make a batch of crunchy chickpeas or stock up on nuts, like walnuts.
