So often in the job search, a person will walk away feeling like they\u2019ve landed the position, only\u00a0to not receive a job offer. Same goes for the dating world. Those who date are in on-again, off-again relationships or are in relationships they thought were for the long haul but suddenly ended. However, with all the uncertainty, comes a chance for adventure and an opportunity for something great.<\/p>\n You want the best fit for both parties involved.\u00a0<\/strong>The older you get, the more you understand this rule of thumb in job searching and dating. You want a career and relationship with a person who is the best fit for you and for you to be the best fit for them. There’s no room for settling. If the pieces don\u2019t truly fit, then you’ll only be doing yourself a disservice in the long run.<\/p>\n The initial interview (or date) is nerve-wracking.\u00a0<\/strong>The first date butterflies are all too familiar. They’re similar to the experience of going on an interview for a job. You want your hair, your outfit, and your makeup to be just right. Whether you’re meeting your future partner or your future employer, you want to impress the other person sitting in front of you.<\/p>\n Confidence is key.\u00a0<\/strong>You have to know who you are, what you want, and what you bring to the table. If you’re not confident, then the job recruiter or potential boo will see right through you.
