After years of lugging our dirty clothes hamper to the dry cleaner and cursing about the wine stains on our fave tops, we’ve got PTLD: Post Traumatic Laundry Disorder. At this point, the only time we ever want to hear the words “spin cycle” is when we’re sweating it out on a stationary bike at the gym.

Thankfully, it seems the Internet gods have heard our cries for help, and sent Washio: a new online company aiming to help us end our dependence on the laundromat.

Here’s how it works: First, you’ll place your order for dry cleaning or laundry services (via their handy online app) and schedule a pick-up time. Then, hand your dirty clothes over to the Washio “ninja” in charge of collecting them from your house. After that, all you have to do is wait for your clean laundry to be delivered back to your door! To make the deal even sweeter, they’re using reusable bags, avoiding harsh chemicals during the wash, and giving you text message updates throughout the whole process.

The cherry cookie on top? When your ninja arrives to pick up your stuff, they’ll be armed with a delish, complimentary cookie. It might not be great for our diet, but exchanging our dirty clothes for a fresh baked good might just be the best trade ever.

What do you think about Washio’s high-tech laundry service? Would you use it? Let us know in the comments!
