This year’s Met Gala was not short of what we expected: glamorous, fabulous, and everything in between. Inspired by all the gorgeous gals from last night, we decided to choose the hottest makeup looks and recreate them at home for everyone to try!

Look 1

Are we the only ones who noticed the soft-smokey-eye-paired-with-nude-lip trend? This look is sultry, glowing, and super easy to do at home!
Inspiration: The Olsen Twins, Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, and Kim Kardashian.

Step 1: Prep
Cleanse, moisturize, and prime the skin.

Step 2: Face
Apply foundation: Use Laura Geller’s Liquid Baked Radiance Foundation
Conceal, Highlight, and Contour: Use MAC Pro Longwear Concealer, Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Pen, Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick in Warm Almond
Blend thoroughly: Use damp beauty blender
Set with a translucent powder: Use Laura Merier Translucent Powder

Step 3: Eyes
Apply eyeshadow primer: Use MAC Prep + Prime 24-Hour Extend Eye Base
Apply eyeshadows: Use a matte yellow color, apply to the brow bone

Use Laura Geller The Wearable Baked Shadow Palette, take the color oyster and rosemist, and apply all over the lid, and inner eye until fully coated. Then take a brown shadow like MAC in Saddle, and blend in the crease. Then from the same Laura Geller Baked Shadow Palette, take the colors Storm and Chocolate, and start to blend on the lid, avoiding the inner-eye area.

Repeat the entire shadow process on the lower lash line with a small pencil brush, but avoid the inner corner of eye, so that it remains bright.

Line your upper lash line: Use Lancome liquid liner in black, draw a fine line following your lash line, and create and very subtle cat eye at the ends.

Step 4: Cheeks
Apply highlighting powder: Use Jose Maran’s Argan Illuminizing Powder
Apply Blush: Use Laura Geller’s Baked Color and Contour Blush-Bronze-Sculpt compact, take the brown and pink colors and mix them light-handedly onto the apples of your cheeks, and a little towards your contour line.

Step 5: Lips
Apply lip liner: Use MAC Lip Liner in Stripdown, over-line your upper and lower lip and fill in completely.
Apply lip gloss: Use NYX Mega Shine Lip Gloss in Sweetheart, dab a small amount in the center of lower lip to give a poutier look.

We were all about the dark eyes with a bold lip. This look is the definition of glam, and those who rock it are ready for a great night out!

Inspiration: Selena Gomez, Diane Kruger, Kate Hudson
Note: We recommend using the first steps as in Look 1 because that eye look is a great base for giving this darker eye more dimension.

Step 1 and 2: Face
Repeat Step 1 and 2 from Look 1, but now mix the three light highlight colors from Anastasia Beverly Hills Highlight and Contour Palette, and apply to T-zone, and under eyes to brighten the look and make it pop more.

Step 3: Eyes
Repeat all steps from Look 1 Step 3, and now add a dark black eye shadow: Use MAC eyeshadow in Carbon, apply this color generously and keep blending until the colors all come together and eyes are predominant. Take that same Carbon color, and apply to the lower lash line with a pencil brush, making sure to blend well.
Eye line: Use Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Pencil in Perversion, apply to the lower water line.

Step 4: Lips
Lip color: Use Chanel Liquid Stain Matte Gloss in Ever Red, line and fill in lip completely.

Now you can rock Met Gala glam wherever you go.

Happy Glamming!
