celebrating all the ways we love.
gender neutral. equal. proud. since 2004.
MALIN+GOETZ was founded 18 years ago in Chelsea, NY by Matthew Malin + Andrew Goetz.
Partners in both life and in business, they set out to create a brand that could be used by anyone,
regardless of race, gender or sexual orientation.
Equality + diversity has been embedded into the DNA of MALIN+GOETZ from the start and we
have been active advocates for equality from day one. We pride ourselves on being designed
for all genders, all skin types + all skin tones. Just like skin is skin, we believe that love is love.
“When I reflect back on my life in my teens and early twenties, I am in utter awe at the
prodigious strides our community, AND society at large has made. What seemed impossible at
the time, and inevitable today – is nothing less than miraculous. It is indeed a time to celebrate,
but also to know that our work is not nearly done. It is with enormous pride that Matthew and I
joyfully revel, and earnestly fight for equality, and dignity for the LGBTQ+ community at home
and abroad.” – Andrew Goetz
This June, we’re advancing our efforts to support the LGBTQ+ community not only to honor the
Stonewall uprising of 1969, but also to raise awareness about equal justice + opportunity for all.
We’re taking it to the streets to celebrate all the ways we love together with our communities in
New York City, Los Angeles + San Francisco.
+ Pucker up for Pride campaign.
On June 24, we invite everyone to pucker up for pride + show someone you love them. We’ll be
handing out thousands of our cult-favorite lip balms in front of select MALIN+GOETZ stores
throughout NYC, Los Angeles + San Francisco. Our community will be encouraged to show their
support while keeping their lips extra smooth should the moment strike.
Participating stores include:
New York City
+ Nomad: 1141 Broadway, New York, NY 10001
+ Chelsea: 177 7th Avenue, New York, NY 10011
+ Williamsburg: 225 Bedford Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11211

+ Here for the LGBTQ+ community.
To further support our commitment for LGBTQ+ community, MALIN+GOETZ will be making a
meaningful contribution to the Trevor Project in June. We will be donating 50% of all store +
online sales made on Tuesday June 28th, in honor of the 1969 Stonewall anniversary.
