Although our society is slowly embracing all body shapes and sizes, there’s still a handful of trolls who find it necessary to body shame. And the latest target was first American Idol winner and singer-songwriter, Kelly Clarkson.

The singer tweeted her gratitude to those who fought for American’s freedom on July 4 and a troll wrote back calling her fat. However, the troll was immediately shut down by none other than Clarkson herself.
She’s no stranger to hate comments but has shown us time and time again that “What Doesn’t Kill You Makes You Stronger.” You go, girl.
