Janine is at the forefront of hair fashion as the West Coast spokesperson for Sebastian Professional and a member of the national Sebastian Design team. After Janine founded the salon in 2006, Hairroin immediately became Tinseltown’s new addiction, garnering Hollywood clientele such as the Pussycat Dolls, Tommy Lee, Kylie Minogue, Danica Patrick, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Lacey Schwimmer, Kaitlin Olson, Tarina Tarantino, Esthero, Florence and the Machine, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, The Sounds and more. For years, Janine was the key hair stylist for the Pussycat Dolls, and played a huge role in creating their signature look. She has also transformed the manes of celebrities such as Fergie, Christina Applegate, Britney Spears, Lil’ Kim and Carmen Electra.
Janine was the principal hair stylist for television shows including Ashton Kutcher’s Beauty and the Geek and Robin Antin’s Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll, live events such as the MTV Movie Awards, ESPY Awards and VH1 Divas Live, and commercial spots for Best Buy, Coors Light, Go Daddy and more. In 2010, she burst into the national spotlight when she competed on season three of the Bravo TV show, Shear Genius. Janine quickly became a favorite of both judges and fans alike, standing out for her inspired hair creations, as well as her free spirit and endless supply of energy.
A self-professed workaholic, Janine rarely finds a moment to catch her breath these days, but she still makes time to support charitable causes that are close to her heart, ranging from breast cancer research and runaway youth to Christmas clothing drives for the homeless on Skid Row. Above all, this dynamo remains passionate about hair and still has plenty of goals to accomplish both personally and professionally.
