There are a lot of things to love about California: the beach, the weather, the burritos. But according to a new study by NerdWallet, there could be an even better reason to pack up your stuff and move out west: the money.

The financial literacy site named the three U.S. cities where women earn the highest salaries. Topping the list were San Jose, Washington D.C., and San Francisco, where average salaries land somewhere between $54,000 and $56,000 per year.

But despite the fact that President Obama called out the unacceptable wage gap between men and women in America in his latest State of the Union address, the cold hard facts show that American ladies still make 77 cents for every dollar made by men.

Even in cities like San Jose, the highest earning city on the list, women still only make 74% of what men in the same area do. In D.C. and SF it’s slightly better. Washingtonian women manage to pull down 80% of what men earn, while San Franciscans make 84%.

While we work to get those numbers up, maybe it’s time for a stint in California. A view of the Golden Gate Bridge wouldn’t hurt.
