While attending college, Alexis wrote a beauty Q&A column (even dolling out advice to football studs plagued with acne) that ultimately inspired her to pursue a career in beauty writing.
Her first editorial gig landed her in the Big Apple as the associate beauty editor at Women’s Health Magazine. She moved into the online space as the senior associate editor at Daily Glow and then the senior beauty editor at Everyday Health. Alexis got schooled in social networking 101 at Attention, a social media PR and marketing agency.
Alexis believes that anything can be fixed with the perfect red lip color, and sunscreen (30+, of course) is as necessary as water – and chocolate. In her free time, Alexis can be found skiing in Vermont, riding horses, and playing bridesmaid (seven times and counting…)
