Shops where you will fall in love with vintage fashion
When it comes to fashion in LA, shopping for new clothes at the mall is so ’90s. We’d much rather shop at hole-in-the-wall boutiques where we can find to-die-for vintage pieces. And although we don’t have stylists, personal shoppers, or black AmExs like local vintage queens Nicole Richie and Rachel Zoe, we can gear up like the best of them with a stop at these amazing shops.
What Goes Around Comes Around
159 S. La Brea Ave., Miracle Mile
This high-end vintage shop originated in NYC and moved to LA — because let’s face it, we’re all about chic vintage here! You’ll find all kinds of treasures like Chanel purses and fierce military pieces from around the world.
8253 Melrose Ave., West Hollywood
From rags to vintage, this shop is all about being eco-friendly and original. Their unique pieces are crafted for discriminating fashionistas who want to know that they won’t see their one-of-a-kind outfits on anyone else.
2148 W. Sunset Blvd., Echo Park
This shop takes street vintage and sustainability to a new level as it recycles, repairs, and resells killer vintage treasures. The shop’s casual style makes it easy to grab an adorable weekend dress or some cool denim.
My Baby Jo
10418 1/2 National Blvd., Palms
If pompadours and red lips are more your style, stroll through the racks of this hot rockabilly shop and pick up a curve-hugging pencil skirt, a stylish head scarf and some ’50s-inspired jewelry.
1721 N. Spring St., Downtown
This amazing find is in an unmarked warehouse in the heart of LA. Once you find it, you may never want to leave! And unlike other vintage stores, Shareen is known for being easy on the wallet.
