Lady Gaga may have started the crazy makeup trend, but now we’re seeing these colorful looks pop up in beauty mags, on runway models, and on some of our fave celebs. Out-of-the-box beauty takes on a new meaning this season, and we’re eager to see what it’s all about.

Hair Chalking: This craze has been popularized by some of young Hollywood’s most recognizable faces. Try one staple tint, some tie-dyed tresses, or a different color every day. (Don’t worry — the chalk comes out after the first wash.) Pick up some soft chalk pastels at your local art store, or try out Streekers for some liquid color.

Extreme Lashes: Yes, women have applied faux lashes for decades, but now we’re seeing color make its way in.
