More Burn at the Barre
We’ve already begun our post-holiday cookie-binge cleanses and attempted to trade in our cocktailing habits in favor of green juices and more veggies. So of course the butt-burning, thigh-sculpting experts over at Physique 57 are launching a calorie-sizzling cardio class to help us complete our New Year’s resolutions.
It’s called Physique Cardio, a high-intensity, heart-pumping version of their traditional barre class — which, if you have taken it you know is quite the sweat sesh all on its own with a mix of Pilates, ballet, and strengthening moves for an all-over toned bod.
The twice-weekly classes will feature a mix of moves also found in the signature barre class (yes, those brutal but effective shake-inducing thigh moves are still part of it) plus intense moves to help you feel the burn. The result: an aerobic workout like no other on the barre. So we needn’t go elsewhere to get that cardio fix we crave.
