A Fab Spot to Refuel
Mulberry & Vine opens in Tribeca
Sure, another restaurant opens every day in NYC, no big deal. But it is quite a big deal when a health-minded, nutrition-focused rare gem makes its debut in the dining world, especially when the menu is also focused on fab flavor.
Mulberry & Vine, a new, sleek prepared food cafe in Tribeca, is just that — a health-focused restaurant with a flavor-packed menu to boot. Founders Genevieve Lynch and Michelle Gauthier wanted to find a spot where they could refuel after a tough workout and find nutrient-rich dishes to satisfy their quest for well-being, so they went ahead and created that exact concept. The dishes, created by executive chef Justin Schwartz, are bikini-friendly (think no butter, just spices and other good-for-you extras), and are delicious (bonus).
Turkey meatballs with garam masala, ginger and jalapeno delight our senses, while the multi-grain baked French toast with sliced almonds and blueberries makes us actually thankful to be up and out of bed in the morning. Don’t miss the selection of grab-and-go salads, local organic maple sweetened yogurts and freshly baked scones — and keep your eyes peeled for additions to the menu — sandwiches and wraps are coming soon.
