Thirsty Thursday: The Peruvian Sun
Summer is coming to an end, which obviously means more of those fabulous end-of-summer soirées! So let’s channel our inner Serena Van Der Woodsen and focus on being in the moment and indulging. No, not in your summer romance with that foreign fling of yours, but with our fave new drink of choice!
We’re talking about the Peruvian Sun cocktail created by mixologist Kirsten Moore, from The Bazaar (with locations in Beverly Hills and South Beach, Miami)! Yup, it’s a tasty combo of Peach-honey infused La Diablo Pisco, fresh honeydew juice, fresh lemon juice, anise syrup, crushed cherries, and some red vino. (The definition of “some” is up to you.)
This UH-MAZING drink is concocted to inspire that end of summer escapade and definitely perfect to sip-on before you hop-on on a private jet to Peru. (Or at least while you make plans to!)
Peruvian Sun Cocktail
2 ounces peach and honeydew infused La Diablada Pisco
1 ounce fresh honeydew juice
1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
1/2 ounce anise syrup
Combine ingredients in a Collins glass with crushed ice. Toss in a red cherry garnish at the bottom and a red wine float. Add a Peruvian flag for extra flair!
