Don’t beat it, beet it! This beet-based cocktail is delicious and nutritious. Beets are rich in antioxidants, so sip up and enjoy.

4 tablespoons fresh beet juice
2 tablespoons vodka
1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1/4 teaspoon of Crystal or Louisiana hot sauce (or more to taste)
Pinch of fine sea salt
Pinch of freshly ground white pepper
1 skewer of 2 wedges marinated beets for garnish

1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the beet puree, vodka, lemon juice, vinegar, hot sauce, salt and pepper.
2. Vigorously shake the ingredients until well chilled.
3. Strain into a half-pint canning jar filled with ice.
4. Garnish with a skewer of beet wedges.
