Nothing signifies the beginning of fall like the return of all things pumpkin. It’s festive and downright delish. But as the saying goes, with every new beginning, comes an end: and the return of the pumpkin treats marks the tragic end of your bikini bod. Yes, for every sugary pumpkin treat you eat, a sexy ab dies in heaven.

We know what you’re thinking. “But pumpkin is like, totes healthy for you!” And while that’s true, many pumpkin favorites can do major damage to your diet. Case in point: Starbucks’ Pumpkin Cream Cheese muffin packs a whopping 420 calories, 13g of fat, and 47g of sugar — promising you a muffin top of your very own. And the Pumpkin Spice Latte isn’t much better. A grande without whipped cream comes in at 310 calories, 6g of fat, and 47g of sugar.

But alas, we here at FFF know that it doesn’t quite feel like fall without some pumpkin goodies, so here are a few of our favorite pumpkin alternatives that give you that flava-flav while still letting you zip up those skinny jeans.

Red Mango Pumpkin Spice Yogurt: With zero fat and 80 calories for a 1/2 cup, this is one sweet fall treat you can indulge in sans guilt.

Add Pumpkin to your Oatmeal: Canned pumpkin is full of beta carotene, an antioxidant with fab benefits. And a half cup serving comes in at only 40 calories with 5g of fiber! Stir it into your oatmeal and drizzle some agave nectar, walnuts, and cinnamon on top for a fall flavored way to start your day. Oatmeal? More like orgasmeal!

Pumpkin Mousse: Major taste, minor cals and fat. What you need: Two packets of instant fat free/sugar free vanilla pudding, 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, two cups skim milk, and one 15-oz. can of pumpkin and one tub of fat-free Cool Whip. Make the pudding with the milk and once it’s ready, fold in the other ingredients, stick it in the fridge, and you’ve got yourself some guilt-free dessert.
